People who aspire to join the police forces have good news. In the Bihar Police, 21 more changes have been made to change the way they work. For specific specifications, it is a good fit.

Recruitment has begun in Bihar Police for recruitment under sports quota.

Vacancies are out for 106 posts in Bihar Police for recruitment under the sports quota. These 106 posts include 21 SIs and 85 constables. As part of Pay Level 3 for these posts, selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100.

The following recruitments are not subjected to written exams:

• All recruitments under the sports quota will not be subject to written examinations.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of a 100-point exam.
• The candidates will be given 100 marks, out of which 70 will be based on their past sports performance and the remaining 30 on their performance in the selection tests.
• A candidate will have to score at least 60 marks in this exam to qualify, while selection will be based on merit.

Qualifications needed for applying for the posts are:

• For posts of SI, candidates must have graduated from a recognized university, whereas for posts of constable, candidates must have passed 12th grade.
• The age range for these positions is 18 to 23 years old.
• Restrictions on age will however apply to reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
• The government will also grant age relaxation to candidates in the reserved categories.

How to apply:

• Applications will be accepted from July 10 through August 9, 2021 for these posts.
• There is no online application process for these positions.
