Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years (as on 01/07/2026)
• Selection Process: Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) followed by Main Examination for qualified candidates. PET Score valid for 3 years.

Eligibility Details – For Various Group C Posts

• High School (10th) Pass or Equivalent from Recognized Board
• Any Higher Qualification Accepted
• Age Relaxation as per UP Government Rules

Salary & Pay Scale Details

The UPSSSC PET 2026 is only a qualifying examination for recruitment to various Group 'C' posts. The official notification does not prescribe any salary or pay scale. The salary depends on the specific recruitment notification issued after PET qualification.

• Salary: As per the respective Group 'C' post advertised by UPSSSC.
• Pay Scale: Varies by post (generally as per the 7th Pay Commission and Uttar Pradesh Government rules).
• Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, TA, Medical Facilities, NPS, and other allowances as applicable to the respective post.
