Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years (ITI Candidates) / 22 years (Ex-ITI Candidates) (as on 07/09/2026)
• Selection Process: Merit List based on marks in qualifying examination (10th / ITI)

Vacancy Details – Total 1010 Posts

• 10th Pass with ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT) or Freshers as per notification
• Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act 1961
• Duration: 1 year (Ex-ITI) / As per trade norms

Stipend & Training Details

• Freshers – Class 10th Pass: ₹8,200/- per month
• Freshers – Class 12th Pass: ₹9,600/- per month
• Ex-ITI Candidates: ₹9,600/- per month
• Stipend Increase: 10% increase in the prescribed minimum stipend during the second year of apprenticeship training.
• Training Period:
  • Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: 2 years for Freshers; 1 year for Ex-ITI
  • Carpenter & Painter: 2 years for Freshers; 1 year for Ex-ITI
  • Welder: 1 year 3 months for Freshers
  • MLT (Radiology & Pathology): 1 year 3 months
  • PASAA: 1 year

Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: No Written Examination
• Selection Basis: Merit Based
• Merit List: Prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10th.
• Tie-Breaker: If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference. If date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Class 10th earlier will be preferred.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
• Medical Examination: Selected candidates must meet the prescribed physical fitness/medical requirements.
