• CG SET 2026 does not provide any salary or pay scale, as it is an eligibility examination for Assistant Professor posts.
• Candidates who qualify CG SET become eligible to apply for Assistant Professor recruitments conducted by universities and colleges in Chhattisgarh, subject to the respective recruitment rules.
• Assistant Professor Salary (after selection through a separate recruitment): Generally Academic Level 10 – ₹57,700–₹1,82,400 under the 7th UGC Pay Matrix, along with applicable allowances as per the appointing institution's rules.
