• Bihar STET is a Teacher Eligibility Test; it does not offer a direct salary or pay scale.
• Candidates who qualify STET become eligible for teaching recruitment opportunities as per the applicable recruitment rules.
• Salary and pay scale will depend on the post, department and teacher recruitment process in which the candidate is subsequently selected.

• Total Marks: 150
• Exam Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes (150 Minutes)
• Subject-Specific Questions: 100 Questions – 100 Marks
• Teaching Art & Other Abilities: 50 Questions – 50 Marks
• Paper I: Secondary Teacher (Classes 9–10)
• Paper II: Higher Secondary Teacher (Classes 11–12)
• Negative Marking: No negative marking
• Qualifying Marks: Category-wise minimum qualifying marks are prescribed in the notification.

Exam Centers

• Bihar: Major cities across Bihar including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and others
• Center Allocation: Allocated based on preferences and availability during application
• Computer Based Test at designated centers only
