Candidates who have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineers (India), or the Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India), in the above-mentioned relevant branches, are also eligible.

What are the Other Eligibility Conditions for RailTel Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
No Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder who has undergone training or possesses job/work experience of one year or more after attaining the required qualification shall be eligible.
Candidates who have completed three years post their Graduation/Diploma will not be considered for apprenticeship.
Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship, or terminated their apprenticeship mid-way, or are pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations, are NOT eligible.
Candidates who have obtained their qualification through distance learning or part-time mode are NOT eligible to apply.

RailTel Apprentice Selection Process 2026
On receipt of the online application through the NATS portal, a merit list will be prepared region/state/location-wise, with preference given to candidates from Government Institutions. Shortlisting will be done based on the merit list prepared on marks obtained in the required qualification (minimum eligibility) and/or through an Interview, as required. Only candidates who are medically fit as per the Corporation’s norms will be considered. Merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not assure engagement.
