UKPSC Tax & Revenue Inspector Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements in terms of educational qualifications, domicile, and age limits. The required criteria are as mentioned below.

Essential Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India.

Preferential Qualification

Other things being equal, preference in direct recruitment shall be given to candidates who have:

  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
  • Obtained an NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate.

Domicile/Essential-Desirable Qualification

Candidates must have passed their High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) examinations from institutions recognised and situated within the State of Uttarakhand. However, this condition does not apply to:

  • Personnel serving in the Armed/Paramilitary Forces or on regular posts in State/Central Government or Public Sector Undertakings, posted in Uttarakhand, whose services cannot be transferred outside the state (along with their spouse/children), and
  • Permanent residents of Uttarakhand who are residing outside the state for livelihood or education purposes (along with their spouse/children).

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2026)

The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 42 years. The candidate must be born after 1st July 2005 and not before 2nd July 1984.
