Domicile

Candidates must be a domicile of Gujarat State and must produce the relevant original documents in support of their identity and eligibility, as and when called for.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 10.08.1998 and not later than 10.08.2005 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

The minimum qualification for recruitment to the clerical cadre is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks. However:

• Candidates holding a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree shall not be eligible.
• Candidates holding degrees in Engineering shall also not be eligible, except those having a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (BE/B.Tech or equivalent).
• Candidates who have passed CA Intermediate or CMA Intermediate shall also be eligible.

All educational qualifications must be from a recognized University/Institution, and the result should have been declared on or before 10.08.2026. Candidates must also have knowledge of Gujarati and English languages, along with basic Computer knowledge.

GPCB Bank Clerk Recruitment 2026 Online Examination Pattern

The online examination will comprise 5 sections carrying a total of 200 marks, to be completed within 180 minutes. Negative marking of 1/4th mark will be applicable for each wrong answer.

GPCB Bank Clerk Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection will be a two-stage process:

1. Online Written Examination: Candidates must appear for the online examination as per the above pattern. Scores are computed by deducting a penalty of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer, and are then equated across sessions if the exam is held in multiple sessions.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted based on the online examination will be called for a Personal Interview, to be conducted at Gandevi only.

A candidate must qualify in both the Online Examination and the Interview to be shortlisted for the subsequent recruitment process.
