Candidates must possess the required qualifications on or before the last date of application, i.e., 29th September 2026.

Essential Qualification:

• Intermediate examination with Biology from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, or a government-recognized 10+2 equivalent examination

What is the UPSSSC Livestock Extension Officer Selection Process?

Selection to the post of Livestock Extension Officer will be made on the basis of a written (Main) examination, as per the Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department, Livestock Extension and Poultry Development Service Rules, 2002. Shortlisting of candidates for the Main Examination will be done based on the normalized PET-2025 score, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts category-wise (including all candidates scoring at the cut-off).
