Konkan Railway Recruitment 2026 Notification Out
KRCL, headquartered at Belapur Bhavan, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, has invited applications for 7 posts on a fixed-term contract basis for various ongoing Signal & Telecom (S&T) projects under its Project Development and Monitoring Cell. These are contractual, project-based engagements — not regular establishment posts — and selected candidates can be posted or transferred to any KRCL project site (other than the USBRL Project) during the contract period.
Registration Time: 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only, on the respective date of walk-in interview.

Full-time regular Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication/Computer Science/Civil/Mechanical Engineering, OR M.Sc. Electronics, OR AMIE, OR B.Sc.-Physics
Minimum 10 years (Graduates) / 14 years (Diploma holders) in erection, installation, testing & commissioning of Signal & Telecom Systems for Railways/Metros/PSU/reputed private organization. Retired Railway Executives up to SG level with min. 5 years as Executive in Signalling/Telecom construction preferred
Sr. Project Manager/S&T
Same educational qualification as above, or M.Sc. Electronics
Minimum 5 years (Graduates) / 8 years (Diploma holders) in similar S&T project work
Project Engineer/S&T (AUTOCAD)
Same educational qualification as above, or M.Sc. Electronics
Minimum 2 years (Graduates and Diploma holders) in Railway/Metro S&T project execution; AutoCAD experience is mandatory
Senior Technician
Full-time regular ITI/NCVT trade in any discipline
Minimum 3 years in wiring, termination, installation, testing & commissioning of Signal & Telecom Systems; AutoCAD experience desirable
Technician
Full-time regular ITI/NCVT or 10th pass
Minimum 3 years in wiring, termination, installation, testing & commissioning of Signal & Telecom Systems; AutoCAD experience desirable
Cook
Minimum 7th pass
Minimum 2 years in a restaurant/household/rest house/dhaba/food joint, capable of handling kitchen setup for up to 10 persons, well-versed in North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, Bengali, Punjabi, Maharashtrian, Continental, and other cuisines
Age Limit
Candidates should not be more than 50 years as on 1st June 2026. Age relaxation is available up to 65 years for Retired Railway Officials, and is discretionary (based on relevant experience) for Ex-servicemen.

After preliminary screening of applications, only provisionally eligible candidates will be interviewed. A Group Discussion or other elimination round may be introduced depending on the number of candidates.
Candidates should be prepared to stay for a minimum of 2 days if required, entirely at their own cost — no train/bus fare or TA/DA will be paid by KRCL for attending the interview.

Candidates report and register at the walk-in venue on the notified date/time. A Group Discussion or elimination round may be conducted depending on the candidate volume.
Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by a nominated Committee; the merit list is drawn based on interview performance, qualification, and post-qualification experience.
The decision of the Nominated Committee is final and binding.
Selected candidates must clear a prescribed medical examination for fitness before the contract is finalized.
