Educational Qualification & Age Limit

Note: For sports quota appointment in Technician-III, minimum qualification is Class 10th pass; training period is 3 years unless the candidate holds a relevant ITI qualification, in which case it is 6 months.

Sports Achievement Reckoning

The sportsperson must be an active player currently, with achievements in the immediate previous two financial years. Only sports achievements in recognized championships/events held on or after 01.04.2024 will be considered.

Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment

Note: Sportspersons meeting norms for higher grades are also eligible for recruitment in lower grades.

Short-listed eligible candidates will be called for:

1. Trial of sports performance
2. Interview and assessment of sports achievement, educational qualification, etc.

Marks Distribution

A candidate securing 25 marks or more in Trials is declared “FIT” and proceeds to the Interview stage; below 25 marks is “NOT FIT” and is not considered further.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Recruitment

Offer of appointment is purely on merit; in case of a tie, preference is given to the younger candidate.
