ISRO has announced a total of 242 vacancies for Assistant, JPA, UDC, and Stenographer posts across seven zones/centres. The zone-wise and post-wise vacancy break-up is given below.

ISRO Recruitment 2026 Pay and Allowances

Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistants/Junior Personal Assistants/Upper Division Clerks/Stenographers in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 25,500/- per month. In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Transport Allowance
• Medical facilities for self and dependents
• Subsidised canteen facility
• Limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA)
• Leave Travel Concession (LTC)
• Group Insurance
• House Building Advance (HBA)

Employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS), and other benefits will be admissible as per Central Government orders.

ISRO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection for ISRO Recruitment 2026 will be based on a Written Test, followed by further stages as applicable to the post (such as a Skill/Stenography Test for Stenographer/JPA posts), as prescribed in the official notification.

An application fee of Rs. 100/- is applicable for all posts. However, all candidates are initially required to pay Rs. 500/- uniformly as a processing fee at the time of application. This processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the Written Test, as follows:
