Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Selected candidates will receive salary as per the post-wise Pay Band-I (PB-I) under the Jharkhand Government.
• Pay Band: ₹5,200 – ₹20,200 per month.
• Grade Pay: ₹1,800 to ₹2,400, depending on the post.
• In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible allowances as per Jharkhand Government rules.

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Examination

• Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) / OMR Based.
• Duration: 2 Hours.
• Total Questions: 120 Objective Type Questions.
• Total Marks: 360.
• Subjects:
  • General Studies – 30 Questions
  • Jharkhand General Knowledge – 30 Questions
  • General Mathematics – 20 Questions
  • General Science – 20 Questions
  • Mental Ability Test – 20 Questions
• Marks per Question: 3 Marks.
• Negative Marking: 1 Mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• The Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature and marks will be used only for shortlisting candidates for the Main Examination.

Main Examination

• Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) / OMR Based.
• Three Papers will be conducted.
• Duration: 2 Hours for each paper.
• Each question carries 3 marks.
• Negative Marking: 1 Mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Paper-I (Language Knowledge) is qualifying in nature with a minimum qualifying mark of 30%.
• Merit will be prepared based on the combined marks of Paper-II (Regional/Tribal Language) and Paper-III (General Knowledge).
